Lisette Tamayo's Delicious Caesar Salad
In May 2012, James Bowie Elementary fifth-grade student Lisette Tamayo participated in the Dallas ISD's Food Service Student Recipe Contest. Throughout the competition, 500 students submitted recipes. Lisette's "Delicious Caesar Salad" recipe was selected as a student favorite and won first place! The recipe below will be added to the DISD Food Service menu and will be served at all DISD schools next year.
